We have NO excuses...
Well, our kids are officially 6 months old now and I am embarassed by the thought of how ancient the blog is at this point. But, there is only one way to fix that....start now! Since our last post we have celebrated our first Halloween, Thanksgiving, the kids baptism, Christmas, New Years and now we are preparing for Valentines Day. Ford and Addie have changed so much during these last few months. Addie has fluffy dark hair and is getting two teeth. She loves to roll over and spends lots of time on her tummy. Ford has two teeth, loves his jumperoo and could roll if he wanted. They are both good babies...laughing and smiling most of the time. We have learned to get out a little more these days. It isn't easier but I guess it becomes necessary. Hope you enjoy some pictures from our last few months. We will certainly attempt to be more diligent about updating this blog.

Gmom Visit
Samantha's grandmother aka "Gmom" or "GGM" came to visit us this week. She stayed with us from Wednesday to Sunday.
During the week, we watched the Olympics, changed diapers, bathed Addie and Ford, weathered tropical storm Fay...complete with a power outage, watched a movie...quite an accomplishment and made up verses to "Little Ford, Little Ford" in the spirit of "Brown Bear, Brown Bear".

Birth Announcement

Addie and Ford are a good bit bigger than when this picture was taken for their birth announcement. At last measure today - unofficially - Ford - 11 lbs; Addie - 8 lbs 11 oz
Thanks to the Jennings for letting us borrow their scale.

A Big Day
BG has been with us from the beginning
BG has been with us since Addie and Ford were born - helping Sam during the day and night shift, keep the whole family fed and helping to keep the house running while we get used to having the kids around.
BG doesn't end up in too many pictures though, because she's usually the one who is taking them.
